Hi, I haven't been in the selling game for awhile now, but I have returned with a few gems to sell off one at a time.

1st UP

1987 vintage Darkwing and Dreadwind. 100% Complete with all accessories. Joints are tight with minor sticker wear, I would rate them a solid C8+ structurally.

The biggest problem with these guys is that they have some serious sun damage, both of em on figure, guns and powermasters. They were displayed on a shelf for some time with the sun damage appearing from 1 angle of the figures. The bottom side is in pristine shape. Structurally, the guns, powermasters and figures are great shape.
(Darkwing's PM is also attached pretty tightly so I didn't risk taking it out, and the right tip of green wing has a stress mark)

I'll start it off at $140 US
+ $18 shipping to the US and $15 to Canada.

I live in Toronto, and take paypal, cheque, or money order. Email me with any questions.

And for the brave collectors out there familiar with screwdrivers and chemicals, the yellow can even be reduced if not eliminated. See here:

These two are my fave G1s...if I didn't own a set, I'd be buying them for that sweet-sweet price!!!

wow, thanks for the link. I wasn't even aware that there was a solution to the sun damage. I will definitely take a look into it. I would definitely be expecting a higher price if it weren't for the brutal yellowness of them. Thanks again.

Just beware, the hydrogen peroxide should really only be used on white plastic. It gets rid of yellowing on other colours, but also fades them in the process. Also never use it on steel/iron (it corrodes). That's what I've learned through my experiences anyways.

yea thats what I concluded from reading all the posts in that thread. That really limits the amount of figures you can work with as a lot of the white pieces of some figures just can't be separated on their own.

I can see the concern and don't mean to suggest "anyone can do it", but I must say I just got fantastic results on a G1 Cyclonus...you can't get any more colorful than that. He was very 'tanned' on one side and the improvement is miraculous. You do have to 'stir' often and you have to work slowly, but it does work.

Pics of this really soon.

Let's chat over at the other thread so as not to hijack our friend selling things here!!! (my bad)
