Alright I'm curious what some of the members think of some of the custom jobs that have been done. Here I purchased what I think is a one of a kind 1985 Metroplex. I don't think its a lucky draw just an amazing custom piece. Its gold chrome is ausome on the inside pieces just like the outside, beautiful job. I hate just touching to move it.

So I have decided to let it go but how much is it worth? Let me know your thoughts or offers you never know.

Oh damn, um that's like so sweet.

I think it's really a best to auction off and let the frenzy start as i doubt anyone could place a hard value on that

Wow.

If that's not a lucky draw it's a damn good custom.

As for value, It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

Cheers!

Wow, that is all sorts of crazy! I'm not one to collect these types of rare shinies so I don't know how much info I can provide regarding a value...but I'd think a lot more than a regular 1985 metroplex....

looks very cool. It should be worth as much as you paid. if you add the word "custom made" and "G1" I think you can get more (on eBay that is)

Yes the one from ebay was this one. The price I paid was low, sellar put chrome instead of gold and threw everyone off I think. Not to mention when you see from China buyers get nervous so I took a chance. There was a reissue Optimus Prime I missed that went for 90.00 and is now being resold for 1999.00 as a buy now. I don't think this one is worth that much.

Keep or sell doesn't matter. I already have 2 metros, just didn't have a gold one. This is the first custom one I have purchased. The lucky draws are ausome just out of my price range and next to impossible to get, this is the next thing to them.

I don't think thats the case, other chrome items sell for lot's because they were faked luckydraws and only fools buy expensive ass chromed items. Im willing to bet if you resell it with the word gold in it you wont get much more.

I did transformer it to vehicle mode just to inspect the plating. I didn’t have any problems with it. I think it is more designated as an art piece then a toy you would transform and play with. How many of our pieces are just for display anyways. I know my MP Prime and Meg will never be transformed.

Fake or original, it's probably cheaper for people to buy from the seller instead of a re-seller.

Just because that Gold G1 prime is listed at 2k doesn't mean it'll be sold at that price (Doubt it will sell for even near that price at all).

Really, some people be smarter on investing their money than this stupid shit.

You have to think season 2 had gold transformers but no one thought to sell them. See what happens when you mix a little electrum.

Not from the seller you bought it from.

What you do with your Gold Transformers, lasers pointers and marijuana is your decision, I'm not here to judge.

Okay..., but can you PROVE this is an original and not the reissue or a ko? I am just saying, claiming this as original can if it is not will get you in a LOT of trouble on eBay
