I'm tempted to get it for PS3, but the 360 is more popular for multiplayer, but I hate the loud console...

I have been contemplating getting it as well. Unfortunately, I have not yet decided. I'm still setting on the fence right now.

I have the 80GB PS3. I have quite a few games already and am busying completing them: Uncharted 2, Grand Theft Auto IV, Motor Storm: Pacific Rift, and Fallout 3. If I get Modern Warfare 2, it'll probably just collect dust until I get around playing it.

My wife likes to play downloaded games like Zen Pinball and "Fat Princess" since these games have a very shallow learning curve. I mean that she can pickup and play the game very quickly without needing to invest a significant amount of time and practice to learn and master the game.

I'll probably make a last minute decision on the night of November 9, 2009 before going to Future Shop or Bestbuy to purchase game on midnight opening sale.

'Pirated.

I heard lots of bad things about the multiplayer features though, max of 18 people on a map, no mods, no customs, no dedicated servers. As another member on RFD said, congratulations PC gamers, you've pirated the industry to death.

Sadly kind of true when you think about it. My friend who loves PC games was told that major game stores (EB/Gamestop) aren't even carrying the PC version anymore, they just told him to get it from Steam.

If I get it, it will be for PC, if it's getting a proper PC release.

I absolutely can NOT play FPS games on consoles. Ok, I can still go back and kick ass at Goldeneye or Perfect Dark :p

But honestly, I cannot play FPS games on consoles. The controles just don't work in my hands... 90% of pirated games cannot be played online, so IMO, there is no reason to pirate them period.

Oh well, PC gaming will live on forever as long as I still have Worms Armageddon.

This game was sold out tonight at Bestbuy and Future Shop in the Metro Vancouver area.

I managed to buy one (PS3 version) for the same price ($ 59.99) at Zeller's.

My Dad was watching the Business News Network like he always does (he burnt the stock ticker into the old TV, thats why I won't allow him to have a Plasma :mad:) And they were talking about the economic impact of this game hitting the market For consumers, the makers of the game, and the economy in general.

It was really funny listening to these guys monotone voices while they played video from the game.

Not really interested in the game. Maybe the night vision goggles, but I remember Zellers having some fully functional night vision goggles for like $30 a few months ago in the toy department.

On a different note, whenever I see MW2 I think they're talking about Mech Warrior.

I loves night vision goggles. Played the game for like 5 mins, then ran around my house with the goggles.

On a side note, I have no idea what McBain is talking about. The goggles do alot.

It was that popular? I didn't think it was. Do you actually use the night vision goggles for the video game, or is it just for fun? Like Shepp said, you can probably get a fully functional night vision goggle for a cheaper prices. I guess the ridiculous Prestige Edition could have made the profits much more bloated.
