I haven't been interested in IDW's previous Transformers books, but I think I might check this new series out.

I really like that Hot Rodimus design... but I just can't stand those faces...
Gimme a toy of that Rodimus anyday.

I'm not sure if I should like or hate these designs. On the one hand, they're supposed to be G1, and they are, but they're just...overly detailed. It kind of makes them ugly, specially in the faces. But then again that detail gives them a bit of a TransTech look, which I'm all for. Any word on when this series is set? It would be cool if these were the Transformers 100 years in the future.

I guess only time will tell. If they can pump these out quicker, with better stories than their previous comics, AND if they don't reset it every 12 issues, this could be a good series.

Keep in mind people, Hot Rod is called HOT ROD in the IDW books, so this cover..... look at the targeting crosshair's names......... he is called Rodimus...... so DUN DUN DUN!!!!!!!!!! SPOILER!!!!!!!!

The new look is interesting to say the least, if this truly IS Rodimus Prime, I wanna see how the alt mode will turn out. Either way, you know I am giddy!
