I did some research and in less tha five minutes i found where it is. It's somewhere in the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean area mostly in the Saguenay part. There is almost the same pic of the "under construction" website of the town. I mail you the answer.

Very cool picture. But I think if anyone got it correct you should have bought them a real case of Beer.

1000 dollar bills are hard enough to come by, (working at a bank I have only seen a handfull in 5 years), let alone a 1000 bill from 30 plus years ago.

Again, beauty of a scene though...
