Looks basically the same as the G1 trailer, except that it's much more expensive than any G1 Prime reissue, or THS-02 (which also has a pretty nice trailer,) for that matter.

Yeah, true. I wish they did something more with the base mode. I prefer BTS.Toy's base mode to this G3 trailer's. The "stealth" mode is interesting, but I would have preferred a gimmick that made the base mode better, if it meant no stealth mode. Still, the engineering on this is really good.

hasbro 25th prime was what $80 new when it was first released?
so factor in optimus plus this trailer, you get an updated version with trailer and roller for what? $20 more? it's an alright price, considering i is a short run add on, and the DVD/comic included is what $1 or $2 total for production costs on the 25th

25th Anniversary Prime was pretty badly overpriced when it was released, too. The difference is, it eventually went on clearance for something reasonable; this one likely won't.

Also, THS-02 Prime included an updated cab, trailer and roller and it's selling for $50 at Robot Kingdom right now.

You can't compare the pricing of mass-market products from Takara-Tomy to a kit from a small production house...

double the price for FP and classics prime and double the size to ths 02, with the comparisons made, it doesn't sound that ridiculous, i'm getting one for sure
