The first wave of deluxe class Transformers Movie figures have been released in Canada. megatroptimus found them at a Wal-Mart in Drummondville, Quebec.

Hasbro Canada is currently shipping stock everywhere, hopefully you guys get it out there soon although the delay is probably because it was sent to Zellers/Walmart/TRU warehouses first, then shipped again to the stores.

No luck (see sightings) at the 3 dufferin stores.

There are still Zellers in Toronto that haven't put out anything when they must have it by now so it seems some places are still sticking to the release date for now.

Went back tonight and they added wave 2 (or could it be wave 1.5?) Real Gear (the camcorder and the mp3 player thing). DLX Barricade was also there.

I guess collectors have some thing about getting new stuff as soon as possible. Otherwise why have a sightings thread? The movie toys have just been in our faces for so long too, and myself I'm going to the country for a while this friday morning (where there are no department or super stores) and was hoping to take them with me.

well, like shift and i were discussing earlier, my local TRU hasnt heard anything about it yet, so for us theres really no telling.

Tekno I'm suprised RHANSEN hasnt told us anything yet! Anyways all TF movie DlX have been released as of 2pm today. Thank god my TRU guy in brampton was putting them out. Told me it just came from there head office.

Yeah, I work at TRU and we got the email around 2:30pm, so they went right out on the shelf. For those who are interested there are two (slightly) different case assortments. The first consists of:

2 x Jazz
2 x Bumblebee
1 x Wreckage
1 x Scorponok
1 x Barricade
1 x Brawl

The second case replaces one Bumblebee with another Barricade. I can let you know that this first wave will be EXTREMELY plentiful at TRU, so it may be a while before wave 2 shows up. All depends on how well they sell I guess (surely they will sell better than all that Spiderman 3 product that is clogging the shelves).

they also had Wreckage and Scorponok, but i opted out.

yeah he actually looks really awesome in scorpion mode. but i still dont think ill get him. transformation is too simple and robot mode is terrible. wreckage is on the list, but not till payday.

For places that released stuff early in the US they seemed to have slightly different assortments than us, the Legends seemed to have Optimus and Megatron, and the deluxe had the 2 you mention.

Practically the whole bin was Jazz at my TRU. Followed by Barricade & Bumblebee. Saw only one Wreckage & Scorpy. Didn't see Brawl at all.

only Zellers and Sears (and a couple of walmarts) have had the voyager and leader class wave 1, and these went pretty quickly.

Ironhide is a voyager class figure and not out till the next wave. It's weird though that you can order him from some online retailers down in the States though (Amazon and TRU.com which don't ship here though). At any rate he and Starsream should be out soon, probably June sometime.

Wreckage is a nice figure but due to not being in the movie he won't be as popular....shame though, but hopefully this means he'll go on sale so I can pick up a cheap on for repainting :P
