One of my least favorite molds from Universe. But this new color scheme rocks. I think this and the last repaint look a lot better then the Silverbolt colors on this mold.

The Cyberjets were cool because of their moulds. Their colour schemes tended to suck and, as far as I know, they didn't get any sort of appearance in the official fiction (in the west, at least.) I'm not sure what the point of redecoing lacklustre moulds into Cyberjet homages is supposed to be; why not just reissue the originals? Sure, they were already redecoed to hell and back during the early 2000s between RiD, Universe 1.0 and Robot Masters, but we haven't seen them araound for quite a few years now and the designs still hold up well.

I was thinking that the Cybertron Soundwave mold would have been a better choice for this homage but I'm loving what I'm seeing and can't wait to snag him.:) If only Darkwing and Countdown showed up in my area...

Cybertron Soundwave is a good choice, but they re-used him for Universe Blaster.

And his Laserbeak 'barrel' would be called Hooligan? :)

Colours look rad, but not one of my favorite molds. Who am I kidding, I'll probably pick him up, but probably not at $40.
