The figure looks cool...paint job's a bit rushed, though.

Is Hasbro releasing a Drift figure?

Hope Hasbro will make one for the Universe line right after the RoTF run...

Any word on the price? The mold looks crazy good, the sample does look like a noob Gundam paint job.

Hey guys. This is a model kit. Its not going to come fully assembled and painted. Its meant to be a garage kit, where you put time into putting it together and painting it. Thats why the paint job looks shoddy, since its meant to be hand painted. ;)

Nothing says classic garagekit like unpainted resin. XD

Don't go nuts people. Hasbro will be giving us a Drift toy in the future. This is exactly like the resin kited G1 Cyclonus fiasco back in 2007. Just wait.

Hey guys. This is a model kit.

I know its a resin kit. What I don't understand is, why go through all the 3D modeling and SLA rapid prototyping to create a garage kit, when that process is better suited to plastic injection? It makes no sense to go through all that cost and produce this limited a run out of resin.

Well, the City Commander kit by them was hand painted right? From all the complaints they got about the bad quality, they must now they can't make a good looking completed figure. So this is the best they can offer, lol.

That doesn't really answer my question. Choosing to go injection or resin does not relate to hand painting since both can be painted by hand.
