The fate of Ironhide is not scary.

The fate of the angry subsidized housing tenants down the street who used to help build the things that GM no longer makes and are now unemployed scares me more.

Just means the studio is going to have to buy a few if they plan on continuing to use it as Ironhides vehicle mode. They could also use this as a replacement.

I've seen a Topkick upclose. $85,000!!! There's a fellow out in the county around here that has one as his personal vehicle. I wonder what his gas mileage is???

Even better would be some Super Cars, Ferrari's, Lambo's, Aston Martin's etc :)

I don't see what the big deal is. They were able to use the 76 Camaro in the first movie, and the Corvette Stingray concept in the second, both of which are out of production or won't be produced at all. I still think they could use the Topkick in the next movie, even if only temporarily, if they really wanted to, or am I missing something? I don't think it will be the end of Ironhide, for a reason such as this.

Actually couldn't find milage on GM's website.

It uses the 8.1L gas or Duramax. The diesel should be able to get 12-15mpg were the gase is probably more like 8-10mpg. Better than a Lambo...
