it's canceled for now. Until they can make them an exclusive to a store, OR until they have a line that can use those figures, they will stay at hasbro. Same situation as what happened to Titanium WW Grimlock and WW Prowl

According to the Hasbro Panel, they are committed to bringing them to the shelves. They're not sure when or where, and they might not be in Animated Packaging, but they ARE comming out at some point.

Blackout is apparently an earth mode Helicopter and Jetpack prime is a redeco of the battle begins Prime with a huge hammer and jet pack and will be sold as a Voyager.

And apparently we're getting a movieverse Lockdown in 2010. Sweet...

Loving that Rodimus though!!!

We might end up seeing them in ROTF packaging. Hasbro said that's what happened to some of the figures slated for the Universe line around the time of the last movie. Retailers (specifically walmart I believe) wanted them in movie packaging because they thought it would sell better with a connection to the movie.

So who knows what might happen.

I don't collect animated, but these look really cool and fun, so I hope they are released so you guys can buy them.

That's quite true for me as well. The animated line might be one of the best TF lines out there. Defiantly a unique twist one classic TF stuff. :D
Oh, and Rodimus is way cool. I would pick one up in a heart beat. And I dislike Rodimus prime. :D

Yeah, I wasn't sold on Animated at first but after watching a few episodes, and really looking at the toys, I was sold. Boy I'm lucky I got on board when I did earlier this year. I was able do some catch up and get pretty much everything I wanted. Well everything that came out localy that is.

Are those Exclusives or mass retail? I noticed Rodimus' Autobot logo is Red instead of Silver... while Sunstorm and Purplewave (both Exclusives) are the only Decepticons to have Purple Decepticon logo and Red Autobot logo.

I really, really hope they release at least Arcee, and I couldn't care less what packaging they use. We've been waiting for a car Arcee since 1986, for Primus' sake!

This is awesome news! I'm skipping all the ROTF toys but I can't wait for Arcee and Blackout. I've heard rumors about a Deluxe Ironhide (Cybertron Ratchet's body but a new head) and Wasp (a redecoed Bumblebee) and I want 'em all. Cliffjumper is lonely!

I'm not a fan of Rodimus in the least, but that's a slick-looking figure.
