Is there any way to open up G1/Encore Omega Supreme's head?

Just curious if there's any way to open up Omega Sumpreme's orange visor/head easily?

I tried taking him apart earlier today, but it I really didn't want to risk screwing up all his gears in the upper body/torso.

Any suggestions?

unfortunately you have to dissassemble the whole "tank"portion to be able to seperate his head(g1).i havent tried taking apart an encore version yet but supposedly it's easier/made that way so you can remove the "face" to make it more g1(so i've heard.)

There should be some youtube videos on it. It was rather popular to take off his additional face mask, and you have to take off the orange visor to get to him. From there you can open up more of the head with the screw inside.

I tried to find my junker to check, but it doesn't seem to be around. Hmm, how mysterious.

It's really easy. Take tweezers, or a really small flat head screwdriver (like for glasses) and wedge it between the orange face piece and gray piece on his forehead (the square part). Give a little pry and it should pop right off with little force. I've done it several times with my Encore and Ehobby Guardian. The eyes in the face lift right out. It literally takes 30 seconds to take it out and put it back in.
