that was... wow. Horrible. Stan Bush is clinging onto that song for dear life (Sam's theme? He thinks that will get it on the album?)

You guys are nuts. This is comedy gold.

From a musical standpoint, it's interesting that Bush was able to completely disengage from the classic tune. That said, it's just Stan Bush trying very very very hard to sound like Linkin Park... the original song is cheesy but insanely memorable, the new one is sadly generic.

I like it. It's better than 75% of the crap they had on the first soundtrack. It's clearly a homage for older fans, like me, people who don't like the young folks music these days:p

If it was remade with Linkin Park and featured Stan Bush just singing the chorus I think it would be not as bad...it'd still be pretty bad but at least the guys in Linkin Park know better than to smile awkwardly at the camera...lol

It's growing on me. I don't dislike it. Regardless of the treatment, 'The Touch' will always remain the anthem of my youth. I'm still clinging to the possibility that this song, in whatever form, makes it into the film.

The song is unremarkable, but not bad either. I agree the video is...awkward...like a grade 8 prom.

I thought the song was alright. Pretty much a Linkin Park knock off. But this ...

^ OMG lol. I can't stop laughing at the first one...

The chorus is terrible. The guy is 30 years older, higher notes is NOT what he should doing. That being said, they could have done a cool remix with the old song and a decent beat.

The video is hilarious...

LOL! That's awfully embarrassing, grandpas trying to sound like guys in the their mid-20s... Gee, Stan, do us a favor and bury that song forever.

I'm a big fan of Stan and I'm happy to see him still doing what he does, but rap? Yuck! Come on, Stan, you're much, much better than that.:(

Wow, after a minute I had to turn it off. That was terrible. Next thing you know he'll re-do Dare. Oops, maybe I shouldn't have given him any ideas.

Ok, after a couple listens, if you ignore the fact that it's Stan and that another version existed before that one, the song is good. Not my style, but I can see some qualities to it.

It's a good song. Stan Bush is a talented man. But it feels too much like he is milking "The Touch" for all it's worth. And the song, to me anyways, feels very 90's until the rap parts kick in, which are not bad.

The lyrics feel very forced on the tune of the song. Now, if he had done a "you've got the touch" theme, instead of re-using 90% of the lyrics, I think he could have done a better job. Or even if he made a new song.

I love The Touch, I love Dare, I love his other TF songs, Ground Zero and Till All Are One. But those were mostly originals (save for TAAO). Stan can make really good original songs. But his updated versions aren't the best, and this is a good example of that.

I will be happy for him if this makes it onto the soundtrack. It is by no means a BAD song, I don't hate it.

One song I hope does make it onto the soundtrack is Vince DiCola's "Bound and Gagged". I noticed a lot of hate for that song when it was revealed a while back, but I absolutely love it!

I had to stop watching 30 seconds in....it was starting to ruin good memories from the original. Think he made the video on his mac..

For those that are wondering about Linkin Park's newest song for Revenge of the Fallen, this little snip it was posted by the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen group 32 minutes ago.

MEGA LOL!!!!!!! I found that this video was a real disgrace to Transformers; it was just plain embarrassing. I actually liked parts of the song, though. Also, since the old song does not have a special place in my mind, I think I can say I like this one a bit more, actually.

It's NOT BAD, but it needs a lot less white boy rap. Also the video itself distracts from the song due to it's silly faces and flailing arms.

Well we all know what he is going to SING at Botcon 2009 now.

Cheers Ian

Wow.

It started off pretty good....then went to crap.

This sounds WAY too amateurish to be put in a multi-million dollar movie.

No offense to Stan Bush, but it would be much better if Linkin Park just did a cover your song vs you trying to copy their style.

Cheers!

That was pretty decent. Digging the guitar for sure.

However...the rap! Ahhhhhhhh. WHY? It borderline ruins the song. The rest is good though.

Stan looks like he is suffering while he sings it though, while the guitarist looks so happy to be there lol.
