Back from TFcon and ready to go again celebrating the 2nd Birthday of Cybertron.ca! To do so we welcomed Cybertron.ca veteran Team Jetfire (Kyle) to the show to finally talk to us one on one...on one...on one. He was awesome enough to give all of us planning on having a family in the future what it's like to have a son and daughter while being a Transformers/toy collector. Ryan returns in a discussion (or enraged rant) on Canada Post and customs.

Those would be our "extra episodes" akin to the Supplemental episodes of WTF@TFW, but we only got one right now. Duncan and I were thinking of doing another recently but got wrapped up with other things to do. You can find Under the Sheets episodes in our social group "Canadian Slag's lounge (http://www.cybertron.ca/boards/group.php?groupid=5)" for the time being ;)

The last "North America" base/city former (If you don't count the RID Fort Max that didn't happen),

it would be Microverse bases from Beast Wars. Mind you it was for a completely different playpoint so if you ignore that then it's not a trailer base, then it's the Battlestar Trio of Star Convoy, Sky Garry and Grandus in 1991.

Fortress Maximus originally retailed in the USA for $99.99 USD and in Canada (atleast according to my Consumers Catalog X-mas 1988 which was normally a little over priced). He was $169.99 Canadian.

I have 2 MIB reissue Star Convoy (One to open, one to keep sealed), and I have 2 loose vintage Micro Hot Rodimus but sadly I want to get a complete MIB Star Convoy circa 1991 one day.

$169.99? In 1987?!?! I wonder what that would cost now a days...

Keep in mind Consumers was always a rip off, so I figure the true price was 149.99 Canadian

Still $150 back then was a nice chunk of change, after inflation and everything that's gotta be about $250-300

My daughter is much the same as TJ's kids. She doesn't touch those toys sge knows are not hers.

And she does have her own little(growing) collection as well, of Animal Transformers. Universe Cheetor and Dinobot are the most recent but she's slowly getting a number of older Beaties figures.

And she's the opposite of her dad. She loves Transformers and isn't nearly as interested in Star Wars, while dad is of course Star Wars first.:D

And what, you guys didn't want Ratchet and Hotshot at the rollback price:p

Edit: The G1 stuff holds up way better than the new stuff to wear and tear....................

I got them at the rollback price...Ratchet I like and now that I've figured out how to put Hot Shot's back pieces on so they aren't a hindrance I'm starting to enjoy him, wish he had some blasters but then again neither did the Armada version. Unless you count that back cannon thing....

Jolt on the other hand is useless. Doesn't activate anything, looks ridiculous no matter how you put it on Hot Shot, and can't even stand in robot mode.

What's funny about this one is I had a bizarre Canada Post experience the day after we recorded. I went to ship something down to the US and the postal person refused to let me fill out a customs form for this package, like she argued with me about it, like WTF!? She seemed to think that packages worth less then $100 didnt need any customs documentation.

It's true chans, its cool and weird at the same time when I think about all the cool people met through these boards.

To see your number put your mouse over your forum name and then you'll see the address at the bottom of your browser (or hell even click it :P). The address at the should say

The u=???? is the member number you are

Rodimus, Nice to hear that you can share your hobby with your daughter. Beast Transformers seem like a natural place to start. Too bad I couldn't get Beast Wars Neo figures cheaper...She would love A Stampy or Break figure.

Edit: Just checked waht number I am... 55

Wow.
