Completed my Classics with Ramjet and Cliff Jumper. Only missing Soundwave and Devastator. But I don't consider them to be part of the Classics line anyway.

Also get Alt Wheeljack and Windcharger. Only the tow most elusive remains (Swerve and Decepticharge). Then I'd complete the Alt line.

Also got THS-02. Now, to find THS-01...

Got my 'robotic radio' bot (Tai Fong, 1984) in on tuesday. The AM radio still works perfect, and damn he's similar looking to Blaster (and he came before Blaster!), only better. His articulation blows blaster out of the water.

Nabbed a 6 in Ti Rodimus last weekend from TRU Pickering.
Picked up Target Exclusive Robovision Voyager TFTM'07 Prime who was sitting at the post office for a week.
Buddy who works at Spinmaster toys sent me a Legends Hotshot, Vector Prime (megatroptimus' favourite :D) and a scout Cybertron Ransack - he said they were just lying around there.

I'm gonna check out the TFTM'07 Real Gears that my bro saw at the Centrepoint Mall Zellers today...

His transformation is nice and complex, interesting head chest automorph gimmick and really cool foot/grill change (note: his feet come in truck mode/unswitched to bot feet in packaging).

yeah and I have a huge head (i'm 6' 5")
It has a lot of adjustability, to get the eyes where I like them I have to loosen two tabs on the side pieces of the back of the helmet, which comes in 3 pieces in the box (it's a pretty huge helmet, overall quite nice looking).

I LOVE Prime aswell! He is such an amazingly well done figure. Loved the sounds and the automorph. Smiled the whole transformation process :D . And you just answered my question on the Helmet. Guess I better pick that up too. No Prime blaster?

Blackout's pretty cool, I like how you can detach the helicopter backpack. Ratchet's alright I guess but I think he'll end up being one of the worst voyagers, he's clunky, very poor articulation, not that great looking in either mode.

Yeah I didn't see the blaster, I'm not sure if I'll get it anyways, especially now that I got my 'got stuff early' fix. (...however where are the deluxe class?...)

I think it's odd that Deluxe's and some of the Real Gears haven't been seen in Canada yet. At my Zellers the box of Real Gears contained only the Phone, Camera, Game thing and Binoculars. No Booster, Video Camera or....is there another one?

I picked up Jazz, Wreckage, Barricade and Brawl at Polopark TRU. Really like the Barricade,both the look and the homage to Soundwave with the frenzy which comes out of his chest. Brawl's arms wont go in place correctly but is still a cool figure.
Also, after two months of searching I found a classics Starscream at Zellers on henderson hwy. They were easy to find a few months ago but seem to have gotten pretty rare of late!

I got Excellion at Metrotown TRU on Friday night and then the Titaniums I picked up at the Bay at Lougheed Mall.

I better chill out with the toy hunting before the spending gets a bit out of hand but its so damn addictive. Like drugs but I'm glad I am not a completist like when I used to collect McFarlane toys, I just had to have them all.

uh oh, I've officially caught the g1 in box bug. Just got these two in. Metroplex is white leg/plastic wheel version with nothing cut from the box. I have a mint rubber wheel version I'm thinking of switching in, anyone know if there's any differences in boxes for rubber vs. plastic?. The galvatron isn't in the best shape but I have a better copy of him too (minus parts), the box has the tech specs cut out.

Right on, switcheroo and I have a MIB, are the parts generic for 'plex too? (they seem to be).

I got the Metroplex for $86 US, the Galvi for $36, plus $25 shipping so about $160-170 CDN altogether. I'm still trying to get a solid sense of MIB/in box prices (only starting collecting boxes a couple of months ago), but this seemed pretty good to me.

yeah no kidding I got my mib astrotrain with a truly c 9.5 mint box and super mint instructions for $70 at Transformerscon ($20 less than this metroplex). If those are the sorts of price differences based on box condition I can only afford to buy mint boxes every once and a while (I saw a more minty Metroplex at TFcon for something like $275 or 300).

Nope, the boxes are not exactly the same, there are at least three variations:
1-Standard version with the series two box art
2-Standard version with the series three box art
3-Poster version with the series three box art.

The BWX set was US $39.99 (same price last Fall). It takes forever for TRU to mark down their stuff.
The Targer Classics 2-Pack exclusive was marked down a month ago and is no where to be found.

Is there French on the retail boxes? If so, the retail box is legitimate Canadian retail re-sale merchandise. This means that it was possibly bought from Zellers and re-sold.

If there is NO French, then someone bought/brought them direct from US across the border!

(I'd never normally buy furniture at Wally World but...this time I just had to, I was loving the $1000 curios at The Brick but...). Actually it's pretty decent though, had to assemble it but no broken or chipped pieces of wood (or particle...whatever wood-like material it is) and totally unscathed glass and mirrors.

Thanks Spencer these KO's are great! A couple of loose spots here and there but nothing major and the red one is missing his steering wheel. The paint apps are great and transformations are on point. Really good quality for a KO IMO.

Doesn't Toyfare release a price guide monthly? I don't think that price guides really matter when it comes to selling it on ebay, since buyers themselves will determine the price.

I really like it! Every Transformer from 84 -90, nice clean pictures, and pictures of every accessory. Also has a back story on Transformer origins in toys (Microman and Diaclone). A really good buy and the best one of these types of guides I have ever seen.

It was never meant to be an accurate price guide; Mark Bellomo said so himself in an interview. He only put it in as a requirement for publication.

OH man! when i got to my TRU, there was quite a lineup! And then I was thinking all these people were there to pick up movie toys. And then when the doors open, off they goto the very BACK of the store and then so me and my buddy decided to follow them cuz we were thinking "is there's something they know that we don't?" . SO then we follow them until they get to the electronics section only to find out that they were ALL lining up for the re-stock of the Nintendo wii LOL!!

Agreed. Probably the best book of its kind out there. Great pictures and orgins and lots of details. Love it.

Got a few Energon cubes in. Prime is now a little happier. Also picked up Alt Camshaft and BT-07 Smokescreen this week. Alt Camshaft has the paint applied to the back of his shoulders, like all the others out there but I just can't help but love the colours.
