I'm in the process of making my second scratchbuild... but unlike my first one i'm not relying on lego joints... i think i need to make them.

Is there a good resource online for making joints?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know if they are the same kind of joints you plan to make, but here's a link to some guides for joints and parts.

http://www.angelfire.com/mech/jinsaotome/guides.html

I hope that helps.

hey thanks man i got a few really good tips on the first tutorial on that page i clicked!

sadly he doesn't go into making the joints i wish to make... namely joints like this:

I'm not going to do something as crazy as this.. but i am forced into corner in my design... i need to know how to make small but tight joints.

alot of styrene, some small screws/pins salvaged from other bots and a heckuva lotta trial and error.just remember the cardinal rule, measure twice, cut once;)

nope, just alot of trial and error and cursing:Djust be wary of how much stress the joint is going to be under for transformation.the more abuse it'll take, the more you probably wanna beef it up.

yeah they're all leg joints, small, and vital to the transformation.
