Its no vegas, but if you like casinos, give it a shot. Its not that bad. Its a bit of a drive from the hotel though.

I live across the lake from it.
Its nice, great architecture and the shows are pretty decent.
It is isolated though, with not much near the casino, Orillia is a 10 minute drive around the lake.

You'd be better off going to Casino Niagara and really have something to do and see.
You got the Lundy's Lane Outlets, Clifton Hill for the games, Wax museum etc.
You could always do Maid of the Mist (the boat ride to the bottom of the falls) if it's open.

It's only about 1hr 30mins from the airport and really easy to get to; All highway.

Here's the Casino's website directions.
Only add on would be that first you go south on the 427 and take the QEW Hamilton

+1 to Casino Niagara. Although I don't think the Maid of the Mist starts until May.

Rama is alright. I saw Wayne Newton and Tom Jones there...

Its in the middle of nowhere, an hour north of my house, which is already in the boonies.

All I'm looking for is a texas holdem table..

1-2 no limit or something,

How far is the drive to either of these?

No shows needed, just a table, drinks, and money.

If you are in New York State, I'd guess Niagra would be closer.
Casinorama, is on the Rama Indian reservation (thus Casino Rama) about 1.5 hours north of Toronto.
I don't know the quality of the texas holdem, but they do have poker tournaments. Check out their website for gaming I guess..... https://www.casinorama.com/gaming_home.html
