This is the last of my backlog of customs. The final piece I've been working on...TFA Wasp! I learned a lot of lessons the hard way with the others, so most of it paid off with this piece.

He's got the salvaged wheels from Soundwave, but the rest is TFA Bumblebee. The head was carved down using wood carving tools and built up with green stuff.

Colours are Citadel with Chaos Black primer and satin coating. Still some minor issues with fingerprints in the paint, so minor sanding/retouches needed. Hawk turquoise and Regal Blue right out of the pot were incredible matches to the image caps I was working from.

Overall, this is my favourite next to Trailbreaker. I think I'll enter him at the Toronto Con as well.

Thats pretty cool. It reminds me that I have to go back and fix my own Wasp up a bit. Left arm socket broke:mad:

Great job on the head :)

Mine too! Isn't that odd? Good thing I had a spare.

I managed to find a junker for $5 with the arm I needed so I'm gonna get him fixed up soon.:)

Thank goodness.:D

I would have gone with more green and less blue on the vehicle mode. Besides that, he looks pretty good.

I was trying to follow the blue and green patterning on Wasp's cybertron mode from Autoboot Camp. The difference in vehicle shapes made that a challenge, but I was pretty close.

Sorry, I don't do commissions. One of the more experienced customizers on the board may be happy to do something for you. I'd be flattered if they used mine as a guide/pattern.

that head really looks good!!does the antenna's in the top affect transformation?i like the colors you used too!imho i would have used a more vibrant green but the way you have the purple's in there helps mix it up real nice!!!

The antenna does not affect the transformation at all. There's a lot of empty space in BB (mostly between his audio receptors). :)

I used Hawk Turquoise right out of the pot for the green (looked pretty close to the screen caps) and Ultramarines Blue (IIRC). The eyes and headlights are just the turquoise mixed with white.
