Could it just be the angle of the photo? Maybe it changes color in Hot or Cold water? a la the 90's

One is shiny silver much like ROTF Sideswipe or Movie ù Premium Jazz and the other one is dark silver.

When I read the title, I was hoping for a black hood variant. Anyway, the darker one is more Decepticon, so that's what I'll choose. However, if I saw it in the store and I couldn't find 2 different coloured ones, I wouldn't know if I'm holding the light or dark one.
