I was shown the full picture, unblurred. Its a very interesting design. The head is very nice for Rodimus Prime. :)

Odds are my Classics version will get the armor, if only for that reason.

Hmm, I can't tell how the armour hooks onto Rodimus for the chest or shoulders, but it seems like I'll get this.

They would probably limit it to 500 pieces. The BotCon sets are usually limited to around 1300-1500 pieces. Out of that, how many would buy a Shattered Glass repaint? Maybe it would be better to do a general black repaint, which could work with the Henkei black repaint as well.

Son of a bee!!!! I was hoping FP's G3 trailer for my Classics Prime would be the "last one".

Now it looks like I'll be picking up a Classics or Henkei Rodimus and the "Protector" set as well.

Well, unlike the purple scheme that SG Optimus has, SG Rodimus' scheme is dark enough so that one could do a matching trailer which wouldn't be too out of place on Gentei Wildrider, either...

...and I've seen pics of people who have bought City Commander and used it with Optimus, rather than Magnus, so I would not be entierely surprised to see someone use a pre-existing Rodimus fig in a potential Despoiler set of armour.


Although, it would also be nice to see a wider release of a dark Rodimus figure - even as a HTS exclusive, the way Nemesis already is - to match...
