No Transformers series has lasted more than three seasons. Animated gave us something unique but it probably would have worn thin if they stretched it out for too long. I just hope they don't gives us another accessory-activated gimmick toyline with a crappy dubbed anime for the next series.

I hope they wrap it up nicely. Maybe give us a few OVAs from this universe and invest in keeping the comics and other story media from this universe going strong.

Sometimes not knowing it all is the key to a great saga so I hope they leave some stories untold.

If this turn out to be true, It had a good run.

Cartoon Network has a history for canceling good shows. Case in point - Justice League.

Hopefully the series will end with Prime suceeding Ultra Magnus as leader of the Autobots.

I'd really like to see Wreck-Gar show up once more too!

This is Bad, Animated is the first half decently written or produced show since BW, and I was into it. Looking forward to lots of characters etc.
I guess nothing last forever, but I really enjoyed animated.

well it still isnt confirmed. and i really hope it isn't i love the show and the toys are awesome. and like someone posted on tfw2005. other tf shows lasted 3 seasons etc yes but they had alot more episodes per season.

and lets hope they dont go back to crap like energon/cybertron garbage shows.

Maybe after the movie they'll continue it as "Animated Transformers" or "Transformers the Animated Series" and focus on a different crew? Wreckers or "Rodiumus 'n' Kup in space" type stories?

It is really too bad if this does end up being true. I feel they finally had a good series going here.

Maybe if they just tweaked the series into some kind of card battle game and added "-mon" to the title, it could run forever.

I know some don't like the Animated mecha designs but the TFA storyline is decently written. It is sad to see it goes... at least it ended with a good run.

This sucks. With my school schedule, Animated's the only show I actually put in an effort to catch, reruns and all.

Maybe they'll change their minds and expand the series, or make a sequel series (that hopefully doesn't suck as much as Beast Machines did).

I can't see Hasbro giving up on this franchaise just when it's getting so good! Talk about a stupid business decision if that's the case.

Season 3, better wrap it all up nice an neat. I hate series that don't do that and are left open ended.

P.S. I love animated :(, agree that it may possibly be the best Transformer stories written to date. This is a sad day.

I'm indifferent as I wasn't impressed with Animated anyway. It does suck for you guys that like it though as I'm sure whatever toon they ever decide to replace it with wont be any better if not worse (I'm convinced we'll never get a good animated show again). On the other hand I am glad it's ending as wile I was indifferent to the show I really do hate the toys.
