Final Battle Leader Class Megatron..To Hell And Back!

My first time around I was going for a Premium Megatron, with more paint and more color than the dull plastic we originally got, before there was a premium. And it was ok I guess, but, I'd wanted him to be dirtier, and this guy certainly never came to that..

So when it came time to thank one of my online friends/customer types I decided to make him a Leader Megs again, but this time I really wanted to make him messed..And so far, I think I've done it..

He's still a WIP but almost done..I'm debating adding some of the smoldering orange wounds to him that he had in the end..we'll see.. I did add some gold tint and smears to tarnish his metal some, and it's working great..unfortunately I think only dodjie, his soon to be owner will get to see if in its full glory and color in person..But so far, Megs all of a sudden looks like a guy who's fought for millions of years, flown through space, been irradiated, burned through the atmosphere and crashed and frozen...In my opinion. More so than some bluish grey plastic. More to come later this weekend.

Wow! That battle damage looks awesome. It must have taken a heck of a lot of time too! A++! I especially like the kind of burnt/charred effect that you gave it.

Wow, the non-damaged look great with the gold and black paint.

While I am not a fan of battle damage, this one look impressive and more real compared to way Hasbro do it.

Thanks..I liked the original one too, but, in the end, it wasn't what I wanted I guess. But I'm having a lot of fun with this one now though. I just need to do the arms and wings and some more back detail etc, then he'll be done..Then I might work on a Final Battle Prime as well.
