Hello Canada!

Just finished up this project, which you might have seen in the works on this board or some other board. Classic Stunticons, done my way.
There's more to come, including some detail on Dragstrip and a trailer for Motormaster...and of course the big guy himself, over 17.5 inches tall...MENASOR.

Anyway enough rambling, I will be sure to answer any comments or suggestions in this thread.

Wow, amazing. I love how Wildrider and Breakdown come from the same alt mold, yet come out so differently. And not like Sideswipe and Sunstreaker facing in opposite directions different, but significant changes. Great job. Just a question about the combining. I was trying to figure out how they fit. Are the forearms/hands, lower torso/upper legs extra pieces, or do they come from Motormaster?

$3150... now that's a bit over the top. It looks fantastic, but no way it's worth that much... Seller must be laughing now! :)

Any custom is one of a kind... Honestly, for $3500, I would expect something scratch-built with perfect transformation. Even the awesome one-off HOS Prime is selling for about $600.

yikes. I am getting criticism because the custom sold for an awesome amount? it's not like I could press the "max bid = XXX" button on ebay.

what hurts is TFTM deluxe and voyager REPAINTS sold close to this amount last summer, no one gave those guys crap :(

Dont mind Pascal, hes like the cybertron.ca Emo Transformers fan, never really100% impressed with anything Transformers related, and most of his opinions are negative towards Transformers lol :rolleyes:

I'm cool with Pascal. I agree to an extent. I think a lot of collectors pay ridiculous amounts for "collectibles" but that's what makes them collectibles. I think someone I know paid $8000.00 for a G2 motormaster, or how about comic books (pieces of paper) with values up toward 20-30K...

$8000 for a rare-as-hell toy never put into production, I can see why. I would never do it though... I would only hope for the TF Club to reissue it. :p

Btw, can you explain how the figures are connected together in combined form? I could not quite figure it out looking at your pictures...

That looks awesome. Definitely a very awesome piece. I wonder if one day we can have a transformers museum that can display such pieces.

I was also looking at the pics and wondered how they combine? i.e. are there add on parts? There was another person on twf2005.com that had a Menasor custom as well. Would be interesting to compare the two and see the engineering differences.

it's actually put together quite simply.
if you've seen how galaxy force prime (motormaster) 's arms "snap" into their slots, that's how I have the arms attach. The shoulders are shoulders from C Unicron. The head pops into a socket on top of MM.

Deadend and Dragstrip snap onto fitted plastic holsters, and reinforced with magnets, they are very tight. The upper/lower arm is all one piece.

The waist/crotch/upper legs comes from Unicron and Primus there is a custom built attaching thingy that slides up tightly underneath motormaster.

Each leg bot has 2 small peg holes (which I foresee hasbro using as a shoulder mounting hole for Sideswipe) the knee of each leg has the same sized pegs which jam into those 2 holes.

The feet have a ball jointed peg sticking upwards from the middle, which goes into a custom made hole at the back of each leg bot's car tightly.
